Abstract

This article extensively examines the ecological advantages of biopesticides, their application in agriculture, and their role in environmental protection. The safety, selective action, and rapid biodegradation properties of biopesticides as an alternative to chemical pesticides are analyzed on a scientific basis. Particular attention is given to their biological control mechanisms against pests and their importance in maintaining ecosystem balance. Furthermore, the positive effects of biopesticides on soil microflora, their role in preserving the activity of beneficial microorganisms, and enhancing soil fertility are highlighted. Their contribution to reducing chemical contamination of water resources and improving the ecological condition of groundwater and surface water is also analyzed as an important aspect. In addition, the role of biopesticides in preserving biological diversity and protecting beneficial insects and natural predators is emphasized.
