Anor (lot. Punica granatum) po’stlog’i tarkibida polifenollar (masalan, katexinlar C₁₅H₁₄O₆ va epikatexinlar C₁₅H₁₄O₆-bu birikmalar organizmda antioksidant vazifasini bajaradi; ellagitanninlar-yallig’lanishga qarshi hamda mikroblarga qarshi ta’sir ko’rsatadi; gal kislotasi C₇H₆O₅-taninlarning asosiy tarkibiy qismlaridan biri bo’lib, suvda yaxshi eruvchan, antioksidant ta’sirga ega), flavonoidlar (masalan, antotsianlar-po’stloqda ma’lum miqdorda uchraydi, antioksidant modda bo’lishi bilan bir qatorda ba’zi tadqiqotlarda ularni xolesterin miqdorini qisman pasaytirish xususiyatiga ega ekanligi aniqlangan; flavon va flavonollar-ilmiy adabiyotlarda bu moddalar yallig’lanishni kamaytirish va antikantserogen ta’sir ko’rsatishi mumkinligi qayd etilgan) taninlar, antioksidantlar, xun tolasi, vitaminlar, organik kislotalar (masalan, limon kislotasi C₆H₈O₇, yantar kislotasi C₄H₆O₄, olma kislotasi C₄H₆O₅), gumarain, -sitosterol-3-O-glyukozid, -sitosterol va boshqa biologik faol birikmalar mavjudligi ilmiy tadqiqotlar va ilmiy adabiyotlarda keltirib o’tilgan.
