This article analyzes the development trends of import activity in the Republic of Uzbekistan, the impact of import volume on economic development, and changes in import structure using scientific and statistical methods. The study examines import volume, import structure, the impact of technological imports on production efficiency, and the role of imports in GDP. In addition, issues related to improving import policy and developing domestic production were analyzed. The results show that import activity is an important factor in economic modernization and industrial development.References
