Tourism terminology represents a specialized lexical system that plays a central role in constructing meaning within global tourism discourse. This study investigates the necessity of learning tourism terminology from semantic, functional, and intercultural perspectives. Drawing on theoretical frameworks from Applied Linguistics, Terminology Studies, and Intercultural Communication, the research adopts a qualitative analytical approach to explore how tourism terminology contributes to communicative precision, professional competence, and cross-cultural interaction.
