Ushbu maqolada Segment Routing (SR-MPLS) texnologiyasining zamonaviy kompyuter tarmoqlaridagi o‘rni va uning tarmoq boshqaruviga ta’siri tahlil qilinadi. SR-MPLS texnologiyasining an’anaviy marshrutlash usullaridan farqli jihatlari, trafikni samarali boshqarish imkoniyatlari hamda tarmoq infratuzilmasini soddalashtirishdagi afzalliklari ko‘rib chiqiladi. Shuningdek, ushbu texnologiyaning tarmoq xavfsizligi, masshtablanuvchanlik va avtomatlashtirish jarayonlaridagi ahamiyati yoritiladi.
