Abstract

This article analyzes the pedagogical opportunities for developing and improving the digital learning environment in general secondary schools, as well as issues related to its effective management. The integration of digital technologies into the educational process is considered not merely as a matter of providing technical equipment, but as a comprehensive process involving school management, the development of teachers’ digital competence, the rational use of educational resources, data-driven monitoring, and consideration of students’ individual educational needs. The study clarifies the organizational and pedagogical conditions, management mechanisms, and key criteria for developing a digital learning environment. In addition, the practical aspects of digitalization in Uzbekistan’s general secondary education system and the main approaches reflected in international experience are analyzed. The article concludes with practical recommendations for developing a digital learning environment in general secondary schools.
