Abstract

This article analyzes modern approaches to English language learning, namely ESP and CLIL methodologies. It examines the types of Hard and Soft CLIL, their requirements for teachers and students, the role of subject content and language, as well as the possibilities of implementing these approaches in the education system of Uzbekistan.
