This article explores the problem of forming the foundations of students' materialistic worldview in the process of teaching the theory and methodology of natural sciences. The author analyzes ways to develop scientific thinking in children by teaching the interconnectedness of natural phenomena, the conservation of matter, and the principles of motion, and proposes specific methodical recommendations.References
