The course of gastrointestinal diseases in children often differs significantly from that in adults, with a tendency toward atypical symptoms, rapid progression, and increased risk of complications. This article aims to analyze the clinical characteristics and course of gastrointestinal tract diseases in children, emphasizing age-related manifestations, diagnostic challenges, and the importance of early detection. Understanding these features is essential for timely diagnosis, appropriate management, and prevention of long-term adverse outcomes affecting growth and development.
