SEMANTIC FEATURES OF WORDS DESIGNING COLOR AND PAINT IN UZBEK LANGUAGE

Аннотация

The article undergoes lexical and semantic analysis of adjectives denoting colors. Some specific features of their use in figurative meanings both in the literary language and in some of its dialects are highlighted. Questions about the word rank (color) are considered. Its use, on the names of the primary colors and their meanings, some words-terms denoting the color of animals in the Uzbek language.
