Editorial Policy
This document applies to all scholarly journals and conference proceedings published by Innovative Academy RSC, including this publication.
Innovative Academy RSC publications operate in line with international scholarly publishing practice, the recommendations of COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) and the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan. This page states the editorial policy in general terms; specific matters are set out in dedicated documents.
1. Aims and scope
Our publications cover multidisciplinary academic research: natural and exact sciences, engineering and information technology, medicine, agriculture, social sciences and humanities, philology, economics, pedagogy and law. Every manuscript is assessed for fit with the aims and scope of the publication.
2. Peer-review model
All research articles undergo double-blind peer review: the reviewer does not know the author's identity and the author does not know the reviewer's. Each manuscript is examined by at least two independent specialists. Reviewers are recused from manuscripts where a conflict of interest exists. Review time depends on the field of the manuscript and reviewer availability; the editorial office keeps the process as fast as possible without compromising quality and informs the author at every stage.
3. Initial screening and originality
Before peer review, the editorial office screens the manuscript for formal requirements, subject fit and ethical criteria. Every manuscript is screened for plagiarism as a mandatory step (Copyleaks); originality must be at least 70%. Manuscripts that do not meet this threshold are not sent for review.
4. Decision-making
The final decision (accept, revise or reject) is taken by the editor-in-chief or the handling editor on the basis of the reviewers' reports. Editorial decisions rest on the scholarly quality of the manuscript and are independent of the publisher's commercial interests.
5. Publication ethics and corrections
Authorship criteria, conflicts of interest, the use of artificial intelligence, plagiarism and other ethical matters, as well as the procedure for corrections and retraction, are set out in the following documents:
- Publication Ethics
- Peer Review Process
- Plagiarism Policy
- Conflicts of Interest and AI Policy
- Corrections and Retractions
- Complaints and Appeals
6. Open access and licensing
All articles are published in immediate open access under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 licence; authors retain copyright. See Open Access and Copyright and Licensing.
7. Financial terms
Submission and peer review are free of charge. The publication fee is payable only after a manuscript has been accepted. See Financial Policy and Public Offer.
