Abstract

For the first time in Uzbekistan, the allergenic and antigenic properties of an extract from industrial dust of a cotton paper mill have been established.  In an experiment on guinea pigs, the criteria for the allergenicity of the studied dust were identified: in the blood serum of sensitized animals, specific thermolabile homocytotropic antibodies were determined, active and passive skin sensitization, active and passive anaphylactic shock, and an allergic reaction of mast cell degranulation were successfully reproduced.  The presence of a direct correlation between allergic reactions and the level of homocytotropic antibodies in the blood serum of sensitized animals has been proven.
