DISTANCE LEARNING AND ITS ROLE IN EDUCATION

Abstract
This article examines the role, advantages, and disadvantages of distance education within the educational system. It explores the significance of distance learning in today’s educational process, the opportunities it offers to students, and the challenges encountered along the way. Furthermore, the article discusses the ongoing measures being implemented to develop distance education in Uzbekistan and outlines its future prospects.
