Abstract

This article highlights the pedagogical and cognitive-methodological foundations of teaching complex mathematical operations, specifically division processes, using mental arithmetic methodology in a digital learning environment. The study analyzes students' cognitive load during mental calculation, the role of the central executive system of working memory, and inhibitory control mechanisms. Based on the scientific perspectives of foreign and local scholars, practical methodological recommendations have been developed for integrating mental arithmetic into digital learning platforms, optimizing cognitive load, and developing complex calculation skills within an interactive educational environment.
