PEDAGOGICAL TECHNOLOGIES FOR DEVELOPING READING CULTURE AMONG PRIMARY SCHOOL PUPILS

Abstract
The article analyzes the pedagogical and methodological foundations for developing a culture of reading among primary school pupils. It examines the concept of reading culture and its relationship with reading techniques, reading comprehension, text analysis, expression of personal opinions, and independent reading skills. Particular attention is given to effective ways of increasing pupils’ motivation to read, organizing systematic work with texts, applying interactive methods, developing regular reading culture. The role of teachers, families, and modern digital tools in fostering a sustainable reading culture is also discussed
