THE CONCEPT OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND ITS SIGNS

This article examines the concept of domestic violence as one of the pressing social and legal issues of modern society. The main approaches to defining this phenomenon, its essence, and the features of its manifestation in the family sphere are analyzed. Special attention is paid to the signs of domestic violence, including physical, psychological, economic, and sexual impacts, as well as their interconnections and consequences for the individual and society. Characteristic features of violence in family and domestic relations, such as systematicity, latent nature, and the dependent position of the victim, are revealed. The work also emphasizes the need for timely identification of signs of violence and the improvement of legal protection mechanisms for victims.
