STYLISTICS AND ELEMENTS OF STYLE IN LITERATURE

Abstract
This article discusses what stylistics means and features of style include the following: diction (word choice), sentence structure and syntax, nature of figurative language, rhythm and component sounds, rhetorical patterns. It also highlights the use of reading literature for stylistics.
