Abstract:
This article explores the Jadid movement’s activities in the late 19th and early 20th centuries in Central Asia, highlighting their contributions to the field of pedagogy. Jadids focused on establishing new-method schools, developing educational literature, improving teacher qualifications, and promoting national education. They aimed to increase societal literacy and harmonize national education with modern standards by integrating traditional values with innovative methods. Particular attention was given to children’s and women’s education, forming the foundation for cultural and educational revival in the region. Their efforts significantly impacted the development of modern pedagogy and inspired the growth of national consciousness.
