So‘nggi o‘n yilliklarda kreativ industriya jahon iqtisodiy tizimida yangi iqtisodiy paradigma sifatida mustahkam o‘rin egallab, uning tarkibida moda va dizayn asosidagi tadbirlar institutsional va funksional jihatdan alohida yo‘nalish sifatida shakllandi. Xususan, fashion shoular, moda haftaliklari, dizaynerlik ko‘rgazmalari va tematik fashion forumlar nafaqat estetik ifoda maydoni, balki madaniy-iqtisodiy transformatsiyaning kompleks mexanizmi sifatida namoyon bo‘lib, ular orqali kreativ kapitalning ishlab chiqarilishi va qayta taqsimlanishi amalga oshirilmoqda. Shunga qaramay, mavjud ilmiy adabiyotlarda fashion tadbirlarini talqin etishda ko‘pincha fragmentar va deskriptiv yondashuvlar ustun bo‘lib, ularning turizm tizimi, marketing strategiyalari hamda hududiy rivojlanish bilan o‘zaro integratsiyasi yetarli darajada tizimlashtirilgan ilmiy asosda ochib berilmagan.
