Ushbu maqolada koxlear implantlari bo‘lgan bolalar normal eshitish qobiliyatiga ega bo‘lgan tengdoshlariga qaraganda og‘zaki nutq so‘z boyligi pastroq ekanligi, uni oshirish usullari ko‘rib chiqilgan. Qo‘shimcha tahlillar eshitish qobiliyatini yo‘qotgan bolalarning lug‘at bilimlarini chambarchas mos keladigan (masalan, ijtimoiy-iqtisodiy holatga mos keladigan) namuna bilan solishtirishning ahamiyatini tasdiqladi. Implantatsiya yoshi, implantatsiya davomiyligi va sinovdagi xronologik yosh og‘irlikdagi ta’sir hajmining kattaligiga sezilarli darajada bog‘liq emas edi. Ushbu tahlil natijalari lug‘at bilimlari adabiyotidagi nomuvofiqliklarni bartaraf etish yo‘lidagi birinchi qadamdir
