Abstract

Currently, international organizations play a significant role in eradicating economic violence against women. Economic violence against women is one of the most widespread problems in the world, and this type of violence manifests itself in limiting women's financial independence, depriving them of economic resources, or violating their labor rights. The United Nations (UN) implements specific measures in this area, striving to protect the economic rights of women and combat all forms of violence. According to UN sectoral agencies, economic violence is committed through actions such as restricting women's rights to freely use economic resources, forcing them into financial dependence, obstructing their participation in the labor market, confiscating wages, or restricting their employment opportunities. This type of violence negatively affects the role of women in society, their well-being, and economic equality. The UN has identified the eradication of all forms of violence against women as one of its priorities. UN actions in the field of women's rights, including initiatives to combat economic violence, are aimed at ensuring equal rights for women in all spheres. To achieve these goals, the UN is implementing the following measures:
