Folklore is one of the oldest and most significant forms of cultural expression. It reflects the worldview, traditions, beliefs, customs, and moral values of a nation. Both English and Uzbek literature have developed under the strong influence of folklore traditions that have been transmitted orally for centuries. This article provides a comparative analysis of folklore elements in English and Uzbek literature, focusing on myths, legends, fairy tales, proverbs, epic traditions, and folk heroes. The study aims to identify similarities and differences between the two literary traditions and evaluate their contribution to national identity and literary development.Iqtiboslar
