EFFECTIVE METHODS OF TEACHING LETTER WRITING SKILLS IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE LEARNING

Abstrak

This   paper examines the methodology of teaching letter writing in English as a foreign language. Writing   letters in an essential component of developing students` writing skills and communicative competence. The study explores various teaching approaches, including communicative and interactive methods, as well as the use of real-life situations in the classroom. It also emphasizes the importance of teaching both formal and informal letter formats. The findings suggest that the use of modern and student-centered strategies significantly improves learners`  motivation, accuracy, and overall writing performance.
