Аннотация

This article examines the significance of modern lexicology and its interdisciplinary connections with various scientific fields. Lexicology, as a branch of linguistics concerned with the study of words, vocabulary systems, lexical meaning, and semantic relations, has evolved considerably in recent decades. Modern lexicology is no longer confined to the analysis of vocabulary alone but contributes substantially to disciplines such as cognitive science, psychology, sociology, education, translation studies, artificial intelligence, communication studies, cultural studies, and computational linguistics
