Аннотация

Word order is one of the most important grammatical aspects of the English language. It determines how words are arranged in a sentence and helps speakers express ideas clearly and accurately. English has a relatively fixed word order compared to many other languages. The standard pattern is Subject–Verb–Object, which plays a central role in communication. This thesis examines the concept of word order, its types, functions, importance in language learning, and its role in modern communication.
