This article provides a comparative analysis of the graphic similarities between Ancient Turkic scripts (Orkhon-Yenisei) and the Latin alphabet. The research examines the history of Turkic runic inscriptions, the decipherment by Vilhelm Thomsen, and the evolutionary stages of these writing systems. The core of the study identifies visual parallels between specific characters (D, X, Y, I, M) in both scripts and compares their phonetic functions. The findings suggest that while these scripts belong to different linguistic families, their graphic structures exhibit remarkable typological similarities.References
