Abstract

This article comparatively analyzes the conceptual and verbal-semantic features of professional speech formulas in the English and Uzbek languages. The study examines linguistic units used in formal communication, business discourse, and professional interaction, highlighting their semantic structure, pragmatic functions, and cultural characteristics. It is revealed that professional speech formulas in English are mainly formed on the basis of standardized and concise expressions, whereas in Uzbek more complex verbal units reflecting respect, social distance, and national mentality prevail. The findings of the research are of significant importance for linguoculturology, comparative linguistics, and professional communication studies.
