This article analyzes the religious beliefs and ritual traditions of the Bronze Age population of the Zarafshan oasis on the basis of archaeological evidence. Particular attention is paid to the materials of the Zamanbaba complex, including burial practices, grave goods, pottery, and objects associated with ritual activities. The study also considers methodological issues in interpreting religious beliefs through archaeological evidence. The analysis indicates that burial traditions, relations with the natural environment, and the ritual significance of material objects played an important role in the worldview of the Bronze Age population.References
