ARAB GRAFIKASIDAGI “TARIXI KOSHG‘AR” ASARINING O‘RGANILISHI VA UNING QO‘LYOZMA NUSXALARI

Abstract

This article analyzes the history of the study of the work “Tarikh-i Kashgar,” its introduction into scholarly circulation, and its extant manuscript copies (C 576, B 2472, C 577). Detailed information is provided on the textological and source-critical aspects of the work, as well as the physical description of the manuscripts, their period, and place of copying. In addition, the scholarly views of researchers such as V.V. Bartold, T.D. Jumanaliev, O.F. Akimushkin, V.P. Yudin, and others are examined, and the relationship of the work with other historical sources, in particular with Shoh Mahmud Churas’s “Chronicle,” is discussed. The study substantiates that “Tarikh-i Kashgar” is an important source for the study of the history of Eastern Turkestan and adjacent regions, and highlights the significance of its manuscript copies in reconstructing the textual history.
