Abstract

This article examines the issue of accommodating orphaned children evacuated to Uzbekistan during the years of the Second World War and their placement in specialized childcare institutions. Particular attention is paid to the educational provision for orphaned children who were relocated to the republic and placed in orphanages. The author analyzes the challenges encountered in organizing the educational process and discusses the measures undertaken to overcome these difficulties and ensure appropriate conditions for the upbringing and education of orphaned children.
