This article provides a scientific and theoretical analysis of the developmental characteristics of children with speech disorders, the etiology (causes) of speech defects, and their consequences on the socio-psychological life of the child. The article also presents modern achievements of special pedagogy and oligophrenopedagogy in the context of inclusive education, recent global research, and practical life examples. Recommendations for improving the system of early detection and correction of speech disorders have been developed.References
