Abstract

This article discusses the theoretical and practical importance of using innovative methods in teaching linguistics. In the context of globalization and digital education, traditional methods alone cannot fully ensure the effectiveness of language education. Therefore, the use of interactive methods, information and communication technologies, problem-based learning, project-based learning, clustering, case study, debates and digital platforms is becoming increasingly relevant. The article analyzes the role of innovative methods in developing students’ linguistic thinking, speech competence, independent reasoning and practical analysis skills. It also provides suggestions for overcoming current problems in teaching linguistics.
