This thesis examines the essence of the tax payment system, its legal and economic mechanisms, and the practice of modern tax administration. The article pays special attention to the digitalization of the tax system, the expansion of electronic services, and the reduction of administrative barriers for taxpayers. Scientifically based proposals and recommendations for improving the efficiency of the system are also put forward.References
