Abstract

This article comparatively analyzes how human roles, responsibilities, and social functions are reflected in English and Uzbek proverbs. The study examines the linguocultural characteristics, semantic meanings, and educational significance of folk proverbs. The reflection of labor, honesty, family values, collectivism, and moral principles in English and Uzbek proverbs is analyzed to reveal national mentality and cultural worldview. The findings demonstrate that proverbs serve as important linguistic units reflecting the historical experience and cultural memory of a nation.
