Abstract

This article analyzes effective methods for developing attention and memory in the younger generation through the game of chess. In the context of globalization, where the flow of information is intensifying and various foreign ideas and values are penetrating the consciousness of young people, strengthening their thinking, sharpening their focus, and enhancing their memory have become urgent tasks. Chess is not only an intellectual game but also a means of cultivating qualities such as patience, strategic thinking, and goal orientation in harmony with our national values. The article provides a scientific and theoretical foundation for the impact of chess on concentration, the strengthening of short-term and long-term memory, and the development of logical and analytical thinking. Furthermore, it examines the possibilities of educating young people in the spirit of the national idea through chess, protecting them from the influence of fanaticism and alien ideologies.
