Abstract

This article examines the significant role of tour guides in shaping international relations and fostering cross-cultural understanding between nations. Tour guides serve as informal diplomats who represent their country's culture, history, and values to foreign visitors. The study investigates how guides contribute to cultural diplomacy, promote mutual respect, and strengthen people-to-people ties across borders. The article also explores the connection between tourism, soft power, and international cooperation. It concludes that professional tour guides are vital agents in building positive international relationships and enhancing a nation's global image.
