BASIC CONCEPTS OF DYNAMIC SYSTEMS (APPLICATION OF THE FIXED POINT THEOREM TO PERIODIC POINTS AND ITS ANALYSIS IN EXAMPLES)
Keywords:
Fixed points, periodic points, attracting points, repelling points, weakly attracting points.Abstract
This article discusses fixed points and their characteristics (i.e., whether a fixed point is attracting or repelling), which constitute one of the essential concepts in dynamic systems. Furthermore, this paper is mainly devoted to periodic points and the types of their characteristics. In this context, the classification of periodic points into attracting, repelling, or neutral types is examined, along with a detailed discussion on weakly attracting types among neutral points.
