LEGAL PROTECTION OF THE FRANCHISEE UNDER A FRANCHISING AGREEMENT: INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE AND THE LEGISLATION OF UZBEKISTAN

Abstract
This article examines the legal protection of the franchisee as the weaker party in franchising contractual relationships, which are currently developing rapidly in the Uzbek market. The author analyzes gaps in the national civil legislation by comparing them with the legislation and international experience of the United States and European countries. The article also puts forward proposals aimed at protecting local entrepreneurs from unfair competition and unreasonable risks.
