DEVELOPMENT OF THE WOMEN'S MOVEMENT IN THE TURKISH REPUBLIC (LATE 20TH - EARLY 21ST CENTURY)

Abstract
The development of the women's movement in the Turkish Republic is analyzed. The article examines Turkish feminism: secular radical and the so-called "Islamic". It characterizes different women's organizations and analyzes the existing situation of the women's movement in the country.
