Abstract

Writing is an essential skill in the English subject, alongside other key language skills. However, despite its significance, writing often does not receive the attention it deserves in the teaching and learning process. This article highlights the importance of writing and explores the challenges associated with its teaching, particularly the lack of sufficient time allocation and focus. Effective strategies for improving writing skills, including a strong emphasis on grammar structure, are also discussed.
