ON THE HANGING SYSTEM OF POTATO HARVESTING COMBS

Abstract

The excavation part of potato harvesters perform most of the work in the whole technological process, because the amount of soil coming to the combine depends on the operation of the excavation part. To ensure that the potato rows are dug to the required depth, base wheels connected to the digging lemex are used. The required digging depth and width are maintained both along the rows and across it. However, maintaining the same depth and width in such conditions can not be done in all combines.
