VERBALIZATION OF ALLUSION IN TEXT HETEROGENEITY

Abstract:

Allusion can be verbalized in various linguistic forms, ranging from explicit references to more implicit and subtle expressions. These linguistic manifestations can include direct quotations, indirect borrowings, lexical and syntactic echoes, and other textual elements that signal the presence of an allusive reference. The specific verbalization strategies employed by authors can significantly influence the reader's ability to recognize and interpret the allusion.
