This article scientifically and pedagogically analyzes the specific features of speech development in children with Down syndrome from speech therapy and educational perspectives. The study examines the process of speech formation, articulatory apparatus function, phonemic hearing, vocabulary development, and communicative speech difficulties in children with Down syndrome. The article also analyzes delayed speech development, pronunciation disorders, weak grammatical structure formation, and the influence of psychological factors on speech activity in these children. Furthermore, the effectiveness of speech therapy sessions, individualized approaches, play-based technologies, and communicative methods in improving speech development is substantiated.References
