Abstract

This thesis is devoted to a comparative analysis of assimilation in English and Uzbek. It examines the characteristics of this phonological processes, its similarities and differences, as well as its role in speech. The findings of the study contribute to comparative phonetic and phonological research and provide a theoretical basis for improving the teaching of English pronunciation.
