Abstract

Environmental pollution has become one of the most critical global issues affecting the health economy, and sustainability of modern cities. Tashkent-- one  of Central Asia's largest metropolitan areas faces increasing levels of air contamination, waste mismanagement and water pollution. These ecological problems influence not only the natural ecosystem but also the quality of urban lifeband public health. This paper examines major types of pollution in Tashkent, analyzes their causes and explores environmentally friendly strategies that may reduce ecological degradation. The findings indicate that rapid urbanization, industrial emissions, transportation overload, and insufficient ecological awareness remain among the key contributors to pollution growth. The study suggests that strong governmental policies, community involvement, and modern  green technologies are required to minimize environmental risks and  ensure sustainable development
