This article analyzes the state of development of the field of hydrogen energy in Uzbekistan, the possibilities and prospects for hydrogen production. On the basis of the available literature, technologies for the production of hydrogen, their economic efficiency and environmental aspects are studied. National programs for the development of hydrogen energy and issues of international cooperation have also been considered.
