EASYDAQ: A LOW-COST ARDUINO-BASED DATA ACQUISITION SYSTEM WITH MATLAB GUI FOR EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIMENTAL APPLICATIONS
Main Article Content
Аннотация:
This paper presents EasyDAQ, a compact and low-cost data acquisition system developed around an Arduino Nano, an ADXL335 tri-axis analog accelerometer, and a MATLAB graphical user interface (GUI). The system was designed to provide an affordable platform for real-time measurement, visualization, storage, and basic processing of acceleration data in teaching laboratories and preliminary experimental studies. The manuscript summarizes the overall architecture of the system, including the hardware acquisition chain, firmware logic, MATLAB-based host software, and assembled prototype. Special attention is given to the integration between the embedded acquisition unit and the GUI, which enables user-controlled sampling, plotting, filtering, and data export through a simple interface. The developed platform demonstrates that useful vibration and motion measurements can be obtained with inexpensive and widely available components, while still preserving flexibility for further improvement and adaptation.
