In the era of digital information, media literacy has become an essential competency for learners at all levels of education. This paper explores the intersection of media literacy and education, highlighting the role of critical thinking, digital citizenship, and pedagogy in shaping informed individuals. It reviews recent research and best practices for integrating media literacy into curricula and examines challenges such as misinformation, algorithmic bias, and the digital divide. The study argues for a systemic incorporation of media literacy in education to foster democratic participation and lifelong learning.
