WORKFORCE TECHNOLOGY AND DIGITAL ECONOMY INTEGRATION: OPPORTUNITIES AND PERSPECTIVES

Main Article Content

Аннотация:

The integration of workforce technologies with digital economic systems represents one of the most consequential transformations of the 21st century. This article examines the multidimensional interplay between technological automation, digital skill development, and macroeconomic growth trajectories. Drawing on empirical data from global indices, sector-level analyses, and regional case studies — including Uzbekistan's strategic digital transition — the paper identifies key opportunities arising from human–machine collaboration, e-commerce expansion, and smart infrastructure deployment. Simultaneously, it addresses the structural challenges of workforce displacement, digital divides, and skill mismatches. The study concludes by proposing an integrated framework for sustainable workforce-digital economy alignment, emphasising inclusive education, adaptive policy mechanisms, and cross-sector partnerships.
