Abstract

This research explores the significance of place-name expressions in both English and Uzbek, focusing on their cultural and historical implications. By employing qualitative methods, including interviews and literature reviews, the study sheds light on the shared and divergent features of toponymic phrases, emphasizing their role in articulating cultural identity and collective memory.
